Hi Mauro Faina, Back in 1983, when I was working on the cover art for AHs “Squad Leader: Up Front Card Game” I sent in my cover sketch to AH for their approval. AH liked my cover design, but they said instead of US Army soldiers on the cover they preferred having German soldiers. So, many years later when I was creating the cover for our “Combat Commander: Europe” game I decided to repurpose my original “Up Front” cover and use it for “Combat Commander” — here is the original 1983 RBM “Up Front” Sketch and the new “Combat Commander” cover.
